Peerie the Puffin
No matter how hard Peerie tries, he can’t do the most important thing a puffin must do: fish.
He is small and slow, and unable to keep up with his peers.
One day, out of shame, Peerie digs himself deep into his own burrow and finds comfort in digging intricate and ambitious burrows.
By doing what he loves, he finds out his community could use his skills, and fish do come his way at the end.
Peerie, through trial and error, learns we all have something to contribute in our community, as unusual as it might be.
